Library Schedule

The library is open from 9:00 am - 2:45 pm Monday through Friday.

Check Out Policies

The DEMA Library Media Center offers a wide range of materials that are available on a daily basis to all students, staff members, and parents. Books are available to all students and staff and audiovisual materials may be checked out by staff for use in the classroom. In addition, students may check out magazines to read in the classroom for one day and teachers may check out current or archived copies to use in their classrooms.  Students are also welcome to use reference books in the library. Students check out books during their regularly scheduled class and may come to the library at any time during the week with permission from the classroom teacher. Books may be checked out for two weeks and most books may be renewed as often as needed, provided that no one has placed a hold on the book.

Kindergarten students can check out one book. Students in grades 1-5 can check out two books.

Please remember to return books by the due date. Although there are no overdue fines, you cannot check out a new book until an overdue book is returned to the library. If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, we will ask for payment to replace it.
